Bali is always beautifully decorated--being artistic is extremely important to the culture and brings a family respect. Last week was Galungan, a Balinese holiday, so everything is even more beautiful than ever. Huge bamboo poles are decorated in front of every family compound, the statues are clothed, and there are more offerings than ever.
